“Make the most that you can of the Indian Hemp seed and sow it everywhere.”

– George Washington

“Hemp seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which reduce your risk of heart disease and stroke.”

– Cassandra Forsythe, Ph. D., a nutrition researcher at the University of Connecticut

Cannabis (Hemp) Seeds

*Hemp and marijuana are both cannabis.  The difference between Hemp and marijuana is mostly a legal definition based on the cannabinoid levels, specifically THC.  Marijuana and Hemp seeds are indistinguishable from each other until they are planted, grown and tested for THC levels.  Seeds do not contain cannabinoids, THC or CBD, unless transferred from the flower to the outer shell of the seed.

NUTRITIONAL ANALYSIS of Seeds:

The Nutritional composition of a cannabis/hemp seed is incredible!  In it’s perfect organic natural state cannabis seed is considered by many to be the safest, most digestable, balanced, natural and complete source of protein, ammino acids, and essential fats found anywhere in nature.  A 1-ounce serving of the seeds provides 11 grams of protein—but not the kind of incomplete protein found in most plant sources. Cannabis seeds provide all the essential amino acids, meaning the protein they contain is comparable to that found in meat, eggs, and dairy. This cannabis seed protein is more nutritious and more economical to produce than soybean protein.

Where to Buy Cannabis Seeds?

We highly recommend the following cannabis seed companies if you live within the United States. We do not recommend ordering from companies outside the US such as “Attitude” to avoid additional U.S. customs and imports checks where most seeds get seized. Most of the following companies are in California and send you tracking.

Neptune Seed Bank

Tree Stars
